About me
A lifelong passion for language and the written word meant it was inevitable for me to follow my strengths in communication to a career.
I live in Auckland and am have a strong background in administration and communication. My passion for making documents do what I want them to has led me to developing a career in Information Design. Information Design focuses on preparing and presenting information so it can be used easily and effectively. It combines writing, editing, audience analysis, information management, project management, design, research, communicating with subject matter experts and user experience for both print and online content.
I already hold a BA in English Language and Classics from Victoria University and a BA(Hons) in Medieval and Early Modern European Studies from the University of Auckland, and studied the Graduate Diploma in Information Design with CPIT (now Te Awa). With a job history in administration and customer service, have well-honed skills in communication, organisation and understanding the importance of audience and getting things done!
